All the drawings are playful, embracing a liberty and autonomy born of experimentation. There is an element of chance, of following Paul Klee's lesson "taking a line for a walk" or in this case - a dot. They want to escape as if opposing their containment within the frame. Paper itself becomes the subject in the three-dimensional pieces, its fragility and strength manipulated in order that drawing can fulfil its goal of non-fixedness.
